The only tidbit from this I find even slightly interesting is the reference to John C. Fremont, who happens to be buried in my home county in NY.
Parley Pratt was indeed killed in AK at the hand of an enraged husband, whose estranged wife became P.P.'s 11th (or was it 12th) wife. Quite the gadfly, gg granpa Parley - but a piker compared to Joe and Brigham.

I cannot express how that breaks my heart.
Salvation is not found in any denomination. There is no prophet, there is no “priesthood”, there are no scriptures. Smith was a charlatan.
I have been told you were once a Christian. If so, then you should know that ONLY JESUS CHRIST IS OUR PROPHET and the ONLY HIGH PRIEST.
There was no apostasy, there is no need for new scripture.
For someone who knew the Lord to chase after the false gospel of Mormonism which teaches salvation by works instead of Grace alone just breaks my heart.
CORRECTION: there are no scriptures = there are no EXTRA scriptures (outside the Bible).
The credibility of Joseph Smith is SO dern easily disprovable that it is just sad if it wasn’t so damning.
There is NO evidence to support the Book of Mormon, and a huge amount of evidence condemning the Pearl of Great price.
With JS’s credibility shattered (he would never survive the witness stand), there goes the entire D&C as well.
Sad that he has led so many to Hell.
