WHEN did God give the commandments to the gentiles?
Why do you only grab ‘repentance’ from the NT and discount the rest?
If Jesus was ONLY a man - why do you believe Him when He says ‘repent’ and NOT when Jesus says
‘Believe on Me’ and ‘If you know Me, you know My Father the One who sent Me’.
‘By My Stripes you are healed’.
“Ask My Father anything in My Name and He will give it to you”. etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.
Jesus says....

NO ONE can go to Our FATHER God but through Jesus. Because of our sin - we were separate from God and ONLY Jesus can unite us w/The Father. So you can repent all you want - but you are speaking in the wind!
Remember, sin is having a strange god. Without Jesus as Savior, you cannot serve/obey The God of the Bible.

Actually there is nothing mentioned about 'selling out', regarding the 144,000. Revelation 7:3 Saying, "hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have *sealed* the servants of our God in their foreheads". (4) And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
Notice now that verb used 'were', and John wrote this when? Paul refers this to predestination before the 'foundation' of this age. Ephesians 1:4.
And notice that there are two tribes by name not named, Dan and Ephraim, but nothing mentioned about every tribe sold out to their Messiah.
There are 7 seals listed, along with 7 trumps, and 7 vials.... check out the sixth one of each and you will have that '666' that is either 'sealed' in the mind or hidden from the majority.
So John 3:16 does not apply to everyone?

Might I suggest a great book that could adjust such a perspective enormously. It’s called THE BIBLE.

I have been exhaustively hunting some claim about anyone noted as ‘sold’ out to the Heavenly Father... in the Bible... must be some ‘new’ added to the Written WORD translation of busy fingers.

I guess I don't have that 'code', just the plain and simple 'King James' that the translators forgot to add that it is about timing and different paths for different peoples. My King James says the Heavenly Father is not a respecter of persons....

It would take time to glean the Scriptures to refute some list of sippery nonsense. Might be worth it for the lurkers. Doesn’t appear to be at all worth it for those hiding and resistent to candid, reasonably transparent give and take.

Some characters like that and their postulations are mildly interesting because of some of the novel contortions they put Scriptures through.
Mostly they just grieve my spirit.
Sounds like there’s a wholesale neutering of Christ’s deity by at least one of them. God have mercy.
God The Father declares in His Word that HE IS PUTTING ALL AUTHORITY UNDER CHRIST. Hard to get plainer than that!

I asked a very simple question regarding John 3:16? It was not sippery nonsense. And what I got back was ridicule and some off the wall not even Scriptural about tribes sold out to God.
I post for the lurkers who like me can't ignore the Scriptures to get to some unwritten man made doctrine. There was nothing hidden in quoting Revelation 7 which is also a reference to Jeremiah 49:36; Daniel 7:2; 8:8; 11:4; and Zech. 2:6; 6:5 where in the action is stop for to have the one hundred forty four thousand 'sealed' not sold.
No sale.
Not a problem as I am NOT selling. But I can and do read, and it is good the lurkers can see for themselves what is posted.
There is definitely an agenda there and definitely an attempt to keep that agenda under wraps.

Satan is not going to allow Biblical truths to be presented to people without horning his way in with his lies and deceptions.
We see that on a lot of threads posted in the Religion forum, and always on prophecy threads.
Prophecy threads cut a little too close to the quick, I think.

and then . . . at evidently a perceived opportune moment spring their ‘special revelations’ on the forum rather brazenly but yet somehow very coyly,

I think that’s a very accurate insight.
Prophecy truths slice right across all manner of sensibilities with GOD’S miraculous foreknowledge proven in fulfillment in THE NOW—THE HERE AND NOW.
That’s unnerving for most folks who work hard to keep God Almighty in their tiny pseudo-tidy little boxes.
