I was asking what you personally believe. As you have already made abundantly clear, you believe you know better what I believe than I do. So I ask again, why do keep asking what I personally believe? Don't you already know?

By your non answer to my question asked SEVERAL TIMES, you have confirmed to me that yes, I do already know and that you agree with the ‘party line’ of the LDS that the Bible is corrupted and errant in matters of faith and doctrine.
thank you.

Apparently one of us at least knows what you believe, and I can articulate it at least.

Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.

Actually, I was referring to reaganaut who has been doing that for quite a few posts. I, on the other hand, have not.

Matthew's reference to a prophecy that Jesus would be a Nazarene (2:23) is interesting when it is considered that our present Old Testament seems to have no such statement. There is a possibility, however, that Matthew alluded to Isaiah 11:1, which prophesies of the Messiah as a Branch from the root of Jesse, the father of David. The Hebrew word for branch in this case is netzer, the source word of Nazarene and Nazareth. Then again...
