I heard a man once say, “people do not discuss Salvation because they do not really believe souls are lost without Jesus.” Apparently he was correct.

One can only do so much. As I recall even Christ could not work well in certain areas and left them. When Christ sent out his seventy he told them if they were not accepted to shake the dust off their feet etc. There are limits. However, where those limits are may vary for each individual.
