He moveth his tail like a cedar:

Great! Now what is being compared to the cedar tree? The tail, or how the tail moves? If it was the tail that was being compared, the verse would state:

His tail is like a cedar:

But no, we see the that the tail MOVES like a cedar. It's the motion of the tail that is compared, not the tail itself.
