(Yeah, where's all those Utah Lds Seagulls when you need them?)
Women have a sacred role in the sanctification and purification of men, Elder Glenn L. Pace of the Seventy told students and faculty

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
That’s not in the Christian Bible...
Instead, we are told that the Blood of Jesus was shed on the Cross to wash us clean from our sins...
and that we have an option to get married or not...
Wheter we are married or not does not effect our salvationn or where we will spend eternity...
Plus if women are so complete and mormon men are lacking...
Why arent women in every office in the mormon corporation ...
from the prophetess on down...
Prophecies, blessings,,,
first presidency, 12 apostles, quorum of 70...
Bishops, stake preside3nts, ward presidents...
MTC teachers, mission presidents...
Mere men should don those green frilly aprons and run the mens relief society...
Monson and Oakes learning to bake muffins and all...
Scapbooking boys...save those green Jello recipes...
Ah, yes...dumb mormon guys....
Who needs them...
The women can run the morg on their own...
LOL!
When I was at BYU, I was told by my ACADEMIC advisor that I was there to ‘get a husband, not an education’.
And 20 years ago, if you weren’t married by the time you were 21 then you were told to go on a mission to make yourself more ‘marriageable’.
Women are DEFINITELY second class citizens in Mormondom.
What I find interesting is that the was no statement regarding that the wife MUST be brought through the veil by her husband - there is no mechanism for her to go in by herself.

Nope, but IIRC it is still part of the temple ceremony and only the husband knows the wife’s ‘new name’, she cannot know his. Very telling.

WOW
And ya think that it would be the woman who would have to take the man through the veil...
and call HIM out of the grave...if she wanted to...
Hey mormon corporation...looks like this is getting to loomk more and more ridiculous,
“Women have a sacred role in the sanctification and purification of men,”
Why dont you just admit its just another big fat desparate lie ...
A PR trick finger to dam up the holes in the mormon religion dyke...
It would be a shocker if it WASN'T a part of the ceremony. What article was it earlier that stated that lds women didn't need the priesthood because they were more spiritually 'pure' or something to that effect?
Dam dykes are NOT allowed in the Mormon religion. ;)
Clearly they are trying to head off a perceived woman’s rights furor in this AND counting on the ‘secret’ temple ceremonies and teachings to be kept in the closet.
I don’t remember which thread it was but Nana posted the quote up thread.
only the husband knows the wifes new name, she cannot know his. Very telling.

and another one...
Is he smart enough to remember her name ???
Or righteous enough to even be told such a “sacred” item ???
She should know his name instead....
and he should earn the privilege of being called out of the grave ...
The needy mormon men...so lacking...
Ah yes...there is that domino feeling...
Women have a sacred role in the sanctification and purification of men,
“Mormons believe men and women are equal. In fact, we believe women are naturally more righteous than men. This is why the Priesthood is given only to men since we need it in order to approach the spiritual level of women.
How can they store water for use in the summer?
Oh goodie a goddess thread!!! Lets get naked.
the humps on their backs?
Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.
