“Nice personal attack.

An honorable and ethical person pings someone to their post when talking about them.”

Proof that you don’t read and think. I specifically said two things: First, referring to “certain persons.” That’s what is called in grammar an indefinite plural. If you took it to me you personally, I leave it to you to figure out why that might be. Second, I made no personal attack. I merely said that the reaction was one of “horror and surprise,” AND I SPECIFICALLY COMMENDED JUDGMENT OF SUCH TO THE READERS INTERESTED, TELLING THEM TO GO BACK AND READ THE EXCHANGE FOR THEMSELVES.

Go back and read it!

Whomever you were referring to as the “certain persons who have been posting recently on this thread,” they were not pinged. You pinged no one but yourself.

And the personal attack was in your post to me following that one.

A fine statement from a fine gentleman who exhibits proof of neither. I trust that the crop of raccoons will be good this year and hope that the first schoolteacher in several years doesn't fall afoul of the boys in the white sheets. Will it be worth while to even send a dentist this year? I will try to get this post in before the 'lectricity fails. Good luck.
