Perhaps you need to read ALL the Biblical references to Peter:

Or do you choose to read only the quotes of Peter that seem to pertain to your points of view -- which I believe might be mistaken when you look at the entire picture.  (SELECTIVE readings of the Holy Scriptures or YOPIOS -- Your own private interpretation of Scripture -- which is it?)

What will you say to St. Peter when he meets you at the moment of your death and says you cannot enter heaven because you did not believe Jesus Christ when HE spoke about Peter?

HMMMM -- something to think about, eh?

What will you say to St. Peter when he meets you at the moment of your death and says you cannot enter heaven because you did not believe Jesus Christ when HE spoke about Peter?

Where in the Bible does it say that Peter meets anyone after they die or that Peter decides who enters heaven? It doesn't. Jesus alone, decides who enters Heaven. Here's a sampling:

Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
This, by the way is Peter speaking about Jesus.

1John 5:7-13 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

He that hath the Son hath life; [and] he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

This is one of my favorite sections of scripture because it mentions things like salvation through belief in Jesus, the fact that we can know we have eternal life, and (on this particular subject) we will be judged by God and not any man.

You asked how I would feel facing Peter, but as I showed, there is no reason for me to fear facing Peter, because he won't be my judge. However, how will you feel facing Jesus, having had all this knowledge of what the Bible says, YET you go with a belief and practice in something other than the Bible.

I wouldn't want to be in your shoes.
