These verse are constantly misused by Mormons and being an ex-Mormon and now in ministry to Mormons, I am perhaps a bit picky about that passage.

I can understand your feelings about twisted scriptures used in toxic cults and some churches. So glad you are out of Mormonism. Know you are, and will continue to be, a blessing bringing our Lord's light and love to those still in bondage.
