I believe that I've gotten parts from them. I get beads and wire from Fire Mountain Gems. They have good prices and excellent suggestion.

I love Fire Mountain Gems! Do you ever do flexwire rosaries? That’s all I’ve ever made, although it’s been a while since I made one. The Rosary Shop is where I usually purchase the other parts.

I did not ask if they were dogmatic, I asked if the writings of the church fathers were inspired writings without error like the scriptures or were they the writings of man giving his personal understanding of doctrine

As you know many of the church fathers disagreed with each other and were often heretical in their teachings.. So is this writing infallible?

My favorite Rosary, the one that I use most often, is one that I received from a priest acquaintance of mine. It has metallic-black beads, and I’ve yet to figure out if they’re metal or highly polished stones, but there’s some heft to it, so, to me, it makes it more “masculine.” It has a St. Benedict Medal as the Salve Regina “bead,” and a St. Benedict Crucifix. Before he gave it to me, it was blessed by Pope Benedict XVI the last time he was in Rome.

So far, it has either been: Hard copper wire, wood beads, base metal findings or Hard silver wire, swarovski beads, silver findings. I keep it simple.

It doesn’t have the same degree of authority like a Council of the Church or the dogmatic declaration of a pope. So, in that sense, it isn’t “infallible,” but since it’s written by a Father and Doctor of the Church, it is certainly given high regard.

Matthew 6:7
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

It has metallic-black beads

That's probable either hematite or a very similar artificial stone marketed as "hemalyke". Good stuff, but I hope the wire is appropriately strong. I'd probably use stainless steel for that. Hematite is ferric oxide (Fe2O3), usually has a silver-grey or black appearance, and takes a high polish. It will, however, leave a rust red streak.

AMEN!

That's why we don't use vain repetitions.

The rosary is the prayer of the gospels.

After looking at pictures of hematite beads online, you might be right about that.

If it responds to a magnet, it is almost certainly hematite.

If it doesn't respond to a magnet, that doesn't tell us much.

His talking about the same One word after One word like the hari krishna do? Hari Krishna, Hari Krishna and the same repititon like the pagan world did at that time. Other wise why would he use the parable of the judge with the persistence of the woman at the judges house as a proper example model. A good model for the style of the Rosary.

It certainly responds to my “Oremus Pro Pontifice” magnet, but I’m not 100% sure because the links are metal too. I need a more powerful magnet.

I would draw a huge distinction between persistence in prayer and unbiblical prayers to the dead.

The article also said:

"One day a colleague of mine heard the devil say during an exorcism: "Every Hail Mary is like a blow on my head. If Christians knew how powerful the Rosary was, it would be my end."

Believing ANYTHING a demon says is incredibly naive.

NO ITS NOT ! You should repent with your non humble way! You don’t want to know How it is biblical. You think the bible dropped from the sky and landed on someone’s lap. It did not come into existence in full New Testament form until centuries later They were in Holy Spirit guidance as a Church.
