Last Wednesday evening I did n exposition of Joel chapter three ,which includes a warning of signs in the sky,"Blood and fire and vapors of smoke" before the great and terrible "day of the Lord". within two hours, our evening sky was lit up with a meteorite! The next day, all flights in and out of a vast portion of Europe, because of a volcanic ash cloud. Everybody get ready- the day of the Lord is at hand!

You sit in the quiet of your home (or wherever) with your bible open on your lap, quietly reading and turning over each passage in the prophetic books and, suddenly, it’s happening wherever you seem to look. True- however it is the first time in human history that a nation such as Israel has been miraculously reconstituted after almost two thousand years, (Exactly as the Hebrew prophets predicted) and it is also the first time in human history where literally “All nations” on earth can sit in a single body and “cast lots” to determine the fate of God’s people,(The UN) . Throw in a meteorite and a crippling Volcanic ash cloud, and I would say, “To Him who has ears to hear, let Him hear!”

I keep wondering. We’ve had all of these things for thousands of years, but there does seem to an unusually high number of prophetic events turning up. Anybody having a lot of weird dreams? Probably just me or the Lexapro.
The Divine handwriting is on the wall for all to see, there is nothing satirical about it.
I did in a private e-mail. I’m sorry he isn’t able to view the wonder of God through the same eyes. I thank God for the Holy Spirit EVERY single day. He let’s me know that He’s got me covered when I get anxious. My “Comforter”.
