How ironic it is that Bilaam, a non-Jewish prophet, should be chosen by God to utter the admonition in Numbers 23:19, “God [is] not a man, that he should lie; neither the Son of Man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do [it]? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”
Obama is succeeding where Balaam failed.
Any self-described "evangelical" who attacks Israel, or comes out in favor of some leftist position, I tend to assume is a fraud.

Both Israel and The Pope are being persecuted in the press. No where does the Pope curse the state of Israel. He advocates to live in harmony. Not so Ironclad even for a believer. In the Biblical story Balaam tries a formal outward curse. You could even have a Strong argument that since both Israel and the Church are being persecuted together that they are blessed like Christ. “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you” (Matthew 5:10-12). If both are in the true end times this is par for the course.
