Matthew 24:21 (Christ quoting Daniel 12:1) For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, (wonder what happened then) no, nor ever shall be.
Matthew 24:22 AND except those *DAYS* (of Daniel) should be shortened, there should no *FLESH* be saved: ***BUT**** for the elect's sake those days SHALL be shortened...
Simply put by Christ Himself the tribulation is not going to be 7 years long...
That's pure supposition...Daniel 9:26 doesn't say that at all!

One of the striking things about BO’s run for the Pres. was the facts were there in front of everyone concerning his intentions were he to win the election.....and he is doing exactly that. Wright's church should have been a huge wake-up call... even Hillary stated he was too far left...there were many voices who stated the facts as they really were and people did indeed listen....... but refused to hear.........
We all saw the throngs of people caught up in obama-mania. I know I spoke with people who were impossible to reason with....the facts would not deter their utter devotion, and for many to even their own surprise, who are now trying to back peddle..too late.
So the public in general is already sat up to be deceived and they will be regardless what they may imagine otherwise. God said they will be sent a great delusion to believe the lie and that they will do..... Which means if one has not committed to Christ before the tribulation it will be too late once it begins. There will not be a second chance in that time. Only those who have not heard the Gospel before the tribulation will have the opportunity during to give their life to Christ...and then it will cost them their life.
