Scripture doesn't tell us (to my knowledge) that the AC will be a master politician of the EU.
So much of what folks believe about the AntiChrist comes from popular culture and movies and wild predictions of eschatologists using outdated symbolism from the last century to tell us what Prophecy is telling us. Little of what we believe we know can be found in Scripture.
In this same vein (and as a silly aside), I once had a friend assure me that the AC would be named Damien.;-)
As another poster stated upthread, what greater Abomination could there be than to have a Satanic mosque on Temple Mount.

My son who is in 6th grade was learning about the major ancient world empires Babylon, Media Persia, Greece, ..Rome..... when we look at the scripture in context it is clear as a bell. May the Lord help you see it my friend. God Bless! I.F.
