well if it were only a few thousand years ago, I’m not sure there would be rocks formed from it.

But not from a single flood occurring simultaneously everywhere on Earth that ends all life except one boatload in the Middle East, during the timeframe between the end of the last ice age and the bronze age. And that would be difficult to miss.
