Like it or lump it, many of us are no longer backing down or making nice. Anti-Catholic bigots have used the Religion Forum rules against us until we have learned to use them ourselves.

Your problem with civility is your problem. When someone is civil to me, they generally get it back in return. Attacking someone’s civility, however, does not constitute a religious argument, it is an ad hominem fallacy, and will be pointed out as such.
We read the whole post. It was self-defeating because you whined at the beginning, and then said at the end that whining means you shouldn’t expect to be taken seriously. Thus, you shouldn’t expect me to take the rest of the post seriously. That’s what made the whole thing funny.

So where was your civility in using the word “bigots” near the beginning of the comments on this thread when describing Christians who disagree with the Catholic church? Seems that you came out of your corner ready to start the unpleasantness from the very start.
