Fair enough.

You use pretty universal language in your condemnation of Protestants as bigoted, and in justifying any Catholic attack on Protestantism due to bigotry. You castigate websites defending Protestantism against standard Catholic objections thereto as “bigoted websites”. Your initial response to OneVike cited “vile” statements as why FR Protestants deserve any attacks from Catholics.

What I am trying to figure out is whether you see Protestantism inherently bigoted or not ... are non-Catholic Christians necessarily bigoted anti-Catholics and thus necessarily deserving of the scathing attacks and rebukes you regularly dish out?

Protestants, by nature, disagree with Catholics about a great many things — over-emphasis of Mary, preceived deification of the Pope and the heirarchy, doctrinal infallibility, excessive use of symbolic ceremony, the necessity of confessional, general ostentatiousness, etc. Do you consider these objections bigotry? Are Protestants inherently bigots due to their fundamental objections to Catholicism, their failure to recognize any vatican authority, etc?

I am wondering why your attacks on Protestants are as scorched-earth as they are. I am neither sensitive about this, nor particularly bothered by it. It isn’t the first time my faith has been attacked or scrutinized, and it won’t be the last. My faith is strong enough to remain unshaken by anything I read on the internet. I’m honestly just curious as to whether you consider anti-Cathoic bigotry an inherent problem with Protestant doctrine, or simply an isolated problem among a group of Protestants.
