I was very saddened to find out through her good friend, Sharon, that the inspiration for "The 3:30 Beads," Irisshlass (a.k.a. Maureen), passed away on October 3rd, the Traditional Feast of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, a saint whom "little Mary" dearly loved. She was diagnosed with kidney cancer early in August of this year, and then liver cancer. Please pray for her family, and her friends. And please pray for Maureen's soul, too. I miss you, Irisshlass (I loved your deep faith, your stories, and your sense of humor too), and I will continue to pray "The 3:30 Beads." God be with you, my sweet friend!
