Disagree With the ELCA? What You Should Do

Romans 16:17 - Now I urge you, brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and offenses contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them.

2 John 9-11 - Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching,do not receive him in your house and do not give him a greeting: for the one who gives him a greeting participates in his evil deed.

The Bible is clear. Don't "participate in evil." Get your church out of the ELCA and if that doesn't happen, you should leave and find yourself a bible believing church.

The ELCA is evil.

I was raised Missouri Synod. Got married and moved and joined the nearest lutheran church.

They hid what the ELCA stood for. Nothing was ever said from the pulpit about abortion or gay marriage.

I only found out by looking at the ELCA.org website.

I discussed what I found with the (false) pastor. He said abortion was a option for family planning blah blah, shouldn’t judge others blah blah.

I said I could no longer be a member. He said only a small portion of my money went to the ELCA. I said a red cent to support the evil of abortion was too much. He is a man living a farce, a lie, posing as a Christian pastor, leading some who are innocent of the knowledge of the evil of the ELCA, some who know.

Everytime I pass by that false church I pity the oldsters who don’t know what happened to their old stone country church when the ELCA took it over. It’s a gay marriage and abortion church. The congregation is “dead”, the pastor an old dirty hippie liberal. What a shame the devil is at the core of that church, even if he hides most of the time.

I also corresponded with the ELCA.org webmaster at the time that I discovered they were pro-baby killer. I asked “did I read that right? The ELCA is pro-abortion? Because that can’t possibly be true of a Christian church. I want a yes or no answer please.” (the webpage on this was vague gobblety gook liberal speak). The response I got was “please refer to the website.” I replied “looks like I joined the wrong “church”, BYE.”

It was a horrible experience. No wonder the 2 years I attended, it seemed to be such a cold and unwelcoming place. It was rotten from the foundation to the top of the spire.

Matthew 10:14 “And whosoever shall not receive you,nor hear your words, when you depart out of that house, shake off the dust of your feet.”

I really found it astounding that a lutheran church could be pro-abortion. Sure I was young and not politically tuned-in back then, but geepers, to be pro-abortion and call it a church of any kind? I sat in the pastor’s office and asked is it true, is the ELCA pro-abortion? And rather than be ashamed, he was unapologetic. My great grandfather was a Lutheran pastor, he’d never ever have thought it possible what has happened to this country. Now the righteous are treated as freaks and the evil are mainstream and parade as false Christians. I wonder how that false pastor I had for a while, feels when he baptizes a child, does he ever wonder how many don’t get baptized because of his support of abortion? I am sure he doesn’t think that deeply. These liberals just want it to be a baby when they want a baby, otherwise, it’s just a tissue mass to be disposed of.
