One Year After the passing on of Michael Jackson the world takes note of a pop stars life and worldly achievements.

Great achievements and worldly success bring absolutely no merit or redemptive qualities in light of our fallen humanity (Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:8-9). The absolute bankruptcy of humanity dictates its greatest need for the righteous perfection demanded by our Divine Creator - Almighty God. Selah! The “humanly moral standards” of the Music industry, Hollywood and the rest of world do not match up to the the Eternal standard of Almighty God and His Son, The Lord Jesus (Isaiah 53:6, Roms. 3:23, Roms. 8:29).

No one can deny the amazing genius and creativity of Michael Jackson, his soft manner, his humanitarian vision and noble ambitions for the world, etc. By the same token can no one deny all the weirdness and personal problems that have plagued him these last 17 (or so) years. He, as many others before him, were the product and casualty of the destructive and decadent Hollywood music industry and culture.

An interesting perspective...here’s mine: Drug addict kills himself- happens every day. Move along people, nothing to see here.

Fair enough. Jackson was EXTREMELY talented, but he was also a drug addicted creep. We should not be glorifying him, IMO.

As with Elvis, the Gloved One's glorification, deification and immaculation propaganda will be churned out by the industrious Jackson family and their PR hirelings till the albums, tapes and mementos market dries up decades hence.

Fortunately, the Elvis market and his similar druggo-fascinated cult is drying up with the aging and passing of his devotees.

The burning question now is.....will Neverland become the new Graceland.......complete with tours, artifacts, musical shows by animated robots of the Jackson family, hushed views of the darkened death chamber, souvenirs, Kodak film kiosks, roller coaster rides and a mini chimp farm?

I can't wait. It's just beginning, folks (although slightly delayed by the impending trial of the patsy doctor).

Well he was as you said a freeky dude... no debate there... lol... but..It was not that way written... it was to show that you can possess the whole world and be empty and lose your own soul. In light of eternity time is but a moment....

All depends on ones relation ship to the Creator and their desperate need for His righteousness which is found in Christ Jesus for our eternal abode and well being.

Romans 10:4

I think Neverland will disappear.... MJ left a bad taste in many peoples mouth... Elvis never got freaky as MJ..

The bottom line… is that it is crucial to have a right relationship with Almighty God in Righteousness that He provides by faith in Jesus Christ…. no matter who you are… (Romans 10:4).

Thanks for your reply!
