Hmmmmm!!!! When your theology is wrong, like Curtis' here, it leads you to side with the very enemies of God against those whose only "inhumanity" is the desire to live safely in the land that the God of Israel promised to their forefathers through the prophets:

Curtis wrote that article in 1977! He'd probably say it a little different today. Anyway, you're taking it out of the context it was said in. Here is what he said right before what you quoted from him: "Perhaps it is due to the marginal notes in the Scofield Bible and the many confusing theories of millennialism, that so many today view every action of a Jew as though it were a divine act of God." Sure makes a difference, doesn't it, especially if you had read for understanding the paragraph just previous to it.

I post your input again:

Then you quote from Deuteronomy 30:1-7 as if to prove what Curtis says. Curtis never made reference to that passage, but to the passage in Gen. 12:3, which you should have read in context before challenging what he said! Read verses 1-3 and see that the curse refers to Abraham himself! Your Deuteronomy quote refers to Moses.

Is Curtis or anyone adhering to his theology willing to bet his eternal salvation against fulfillment of this promise or that it is taking place right before our eyes in the Land of Israel today???

I don't bet on anything! I can't speak for Curtis, but I'm sure he doesn't either. As for Deut.30:1-7, well, it's no longer valid as it was conditional. That's another lesson most have to learn about God's plan for man. It's "do this and you shall live; don't and you shall die."

and where is there an expiration date on Deuteronomy 30???

What makes you think that a whole lot of those living there in Israel did not meet those conditions before returning to the land of their fathers???

What makes you think that they did not hear the voice of God calling back to the land of their fathers???

Is there a limit or expiration date on God's compassion???

If He can forgive you of your sins and disobedience and regenerate you to turn to Him, what makes you think that He can't and won't do it for His other prodigal children????
