“I can say it with the full authority of the Gospel of Jesus Christ Saundra”
Well, you are not the final authority, thank Goodness. You are not the judge.
Remember, I used to be an anti Mormon, too. I remembering telling people that Joseph Smith thought he was Jesus Christ. I used to say that Mormons were nuts, confused, and just plain wrong. Blah blah blah.
It takes an open mind and heart and faith. I love my Church; I love my Savior; I love Heavenly Father and the Holy Ghost.
You think I’m an idiot. You have a right to your opinion but I will say this: He who is without sin, cast the first stone.
The anti Mormons on this site sure have been tossing a lot of rocks my way.
I wear it as a badge of honor.
But the scripture shines the light on darkness saundra- smith's gospel is that other gospel.
Remember, I used to be an anti Mormon, too. I remembering telling people that Joseph Smith thought he was Jesus Christ.
You clearly didn't study your anti-mormonism well enough saundra, because Smith didn't claim to be Jesus - he claimed to be BETTER than Jesus.
"I have more to boast of than any man had. I am the only man that has been able to keep a church together since the days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter nor Jesus ever did. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I." - History of the Church, Vol.6, p.408.
You think Im an idiot. You have a right to your opinion but I will say this: He who is without sin, cast the first stone.
I don't think you are an idiot, it is my impression that you just don't think. Look back on what you post saundra and look back upon the questions you have been asked and fail to reply to. For instance, you once claimed that Jesus was the same as Jehovah. I cited to you the fact that Joseph smith clearly taught otherwise - that heavenly father was Jehovah. Now this is the man who alledgedly communed with Jehovah - so who is Jehovah Saundra. Are you aware that it was still taught that heavenly father was Jehovah into the 1950s? One of your prophets and priesthood authorities wrote "I was surprised and perhaps shocked a little when I learned that it was the Son, Jehovah, or his messengers who led Abraham from Ur to Palestine, to Egypt, and back to the land of Palestine. I did not realize that it was Jesus Christ, or Jehovah, who inspired the long line of prophets in their leadership of the people of God through those centuries. "(The Teachings of Spencer W. Kimball, p. 8). Doesn't it strike you as odd that the church that has direct revelation and that claims that its founder actually spoke face to face with both God and Jesus could be so confused on such a seemingly basic doctrine.
So can you provide an answer with your justification on this question about Jehovah - who is correct Smith or you?
Remember, I used to be an anti Mormon, too.

The more you post, the less I believe this claim. I don’t believe you were ever a real “anti” for a couple of reasons.
1) If you were, you would know your Bible better than what you have displayed here.
and
2) You would know Mormon doctrine better, and have better responses to our questions than post the Articles of Faith.
I suspect you saw ‘the God makers’ once (which is a laughable movie for the most part) and therefore say you were an anti.
I’m not buying it. You apparently don’t know enough to be an ‘anti’
I Will Be a Second MohammedIn the heat of the Missouri Mormon War of 1838, Joseph Smith made the following claim, I will be to this generation a second Mohammed, whose motto in treating for peace was the Alcoran [Koran] or the Sword. So shall it eventually be with usJoseph Smith or the Sword! [1] It is most interesting that a self-proclaimed Christian prophet would liken himself to Mohammed, the founder of Islam. His own comparison invites us to take a closer look as well. And when we do, we find some strikingand troublingparallels. Consider the following.
I have more to boast of than ever any man had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together since the days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. The followers of Jesus ran away from Him, but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet.[4] In light of these parallels, perhaps Joseph Smiths claim to be a second Mohammed unwittingly became his most genuine prophecy of all. [1] Joseph Smith made this statement at the conclusion of a speech in the public square at Far West, Missouri on October 14, 1838. This particular quote is documented in Fawn M. Brodie, No Man Knows My History, second edition, (New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1971), p. 230231. Fawn Brodies footnote regarding this speech contains valuable information, and follows. Except where noted, all the details of this chapter [16] are taken from the History of the [Mormon] Church. This speech, however, was not recorded there, and the report given here is based upon the accounts of seven men. See the affidavits of T.B. Marsh, Orson Hyde, George M. Hinkle, John Corrill, W.W. Phelps, Samson Avard, and Reed Peck in Correspondence, Orders, etc., pp. 579, 97129. The Marsh and Hyde account, which was made on October 24, is particularly important. Part of it was reproduced in History of the [Mormon] Church, Vol. III, p. 167. See also the Peck manuscript, p. 80. Joseph himself barely mentioned the speech in his history; see Vol. III, p. 162. As Christians, we HAVE authority, straight from Jesus Christ, no pretend ‘priesthood’ needed. All believers are priests and as Christians we are to judge false and true doctrine and those who claim to be believers.

2 Corinthians 11:12-13

19. Then they took him and brought him to a meeting of the Areopagus, where they said to him, “May we know what this new teaching is that you are presenting?

Command and teach these things.
1 Timothy 6:3-5

3. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.
I love my Church; I love my Savior; I love Heavenly Father and the Holy Ghost.

NOTICE SHE LISTS “THE CHURCH” FIRST. That is where the LDS TRULY place their faith.
Your words, not mine. And a reasonable assumption based upon evidence presented.
but I will say this: He who is without sin, cast the first stone.
Do you realize this verse is about HYPOCRISY??? None of us are being hypocrites, we all realize we are sinners in need of a Savior. We aren't teaching heresies and claiming we are the 'only true church' (which would be hard since we belong to many different denominations). So, EPIC, EPIC fail on your attempted use of that verse.
The anti Mormons on this site sure have been tossing a lot of rocks my way.
We are TRYING TO MAKE YOU SEE THAT YOU HAVE BOUGHT INTO A LIE. We want to see you broken at the Cross, like we have been and rejoice in your salvation. That is LOVE not stoning.
I wear it as a badge of honor.
Typical LDS pride. Gal 5:14 - May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
You think Im an idiot.

Do I think you misrepresent yourself and history - you betcha.
