The devil has blinded the minds of them that believe not lest the glorious light of the gospel should shine unto them (2Corinthians 4:4). And Jesus is the light of the world (John 8:12). He came to put an end to the blindness. Have you ever been in your home during a storm and there was a big clap of thunder and a strike of lightning and suddenly the lights went out? Then what happened you started feeling your way around looking for a source of light. No matter how dark it is a little light causes darkness to flee. The devil that deceiveth the whole world hates that light (Revelations 12:9). He wants you to continue to walk in darkness. Have you ever been looking for something and didn't see it and someone comes in and sees it and it was right in front your face the whole time? What happened? your mind was blind to it, you saw everything else. And that's what the devil does he blinds your mind. Because he doesn't want the light of revelation to shine. Because he knows that revelation is one step away from manifestation. It takes revelations to receive manifestation. Once the light shines on his deception it's over. Once you become enlightened to the truth, the truth will make you free (John 8:32). Deception can not stand against the truth, truth always wins out. When satan tempted Jesus he simply told the devil "It is written....." and the devil had no answer. The gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation (healing, deliverance, preservation) (Romans 1:16). Jesus(the word made flesh) was anointed to destroy the works of the devil. The gospel of Christ is the anointed word of God, it is the very power of God. And the devil know when the light of the gospel comes in it comes in with the power of God. And when the power comes in the works of the devil have to go out. The devil had no rule over the word made flesh(John 1:14), Jesus. Jesus always had rule over him. The power of God always has rule. The only thing the devil can do is try to blind your mind to keep you from receiving the revelation. Because the next step after revelation is manifestation and there's nothing the devil can do about it.
Thank you, RM.
No thanks are necessary. :)
