The litany of humility is absolutely beautiful! What a great reminder.
Apparently the cardinal was quite a guy. I was turned onto this prayer by my dear friend and former pastor, Fr. Brian Mulcahy, O.P. We agreed that it is almost frightening in its listing of what it means to cast all one’s hope on Jesus.
Yep. Frightening. Bring it! I may fail, but Jesus will stand.
