PS. The same rules apply to the Churches. My fear is the inmates are over the asylum and outnumber the followers of Christ. They somehow feel their opinion is more valid than the Word of God and are changing the Church. Remember that Judas was a member of the first Church and a follower of Christ. Our enemies can come from within. To have Bishops, Cardinals, and priests bold enough to openly go against the Church is freighting for me. To have a majority of Catholics voting for Obama is frightening for me. Where is the discernment of the Spirit among the Church today? A few complaints to a few people don't seem to have much effect, but an upheaval may be in the cars in the future. I hate to see it, but I won't remain in an apostate church anymore than I will remain silent in an America that has lost it's way.

I don't really know what I will do if the Church continues to do what it is doing, but something has to change, and soon. Marching around in robes and pretending everything is fine while the parishioners are in open rebellion won't make "it" go away. Members of the Church of Corinth were proud that they were tolerant of the sexual sin of one of their members. but Paul told them to confront him and if that didn't work, throw him out. The Bible has the wisdom of God in it's pages, so why is it so difficult to follow what He has set out for His people? It's not really up to a Bishop somewhere to decide who is "too Republican", but to follow the Word of God and leave earthly things to condemned people.

I disagree. I think the majority of the Church is prolife. It’s just a matter of replacing the 1960’s generation which is still polluting the USCCB.

There is more to the Church than the mission field which is the US.
