One circumstance of fallen human nature is that we tend to see most clearly in others the faults we carry on our own backs.

Another circumstance of FALLEN human nature is the unwillingness to even consider the possibility of our own sinfulness.

The regular practice of good sacramental Confession is God's Own Cure for both circumstances.

You are correct! The continuance of some sins can actually be eliminated through this wonderful Sacrament.

OK, point taken; but where were you yesterday when I remembered to include it?

The regular practice of good sacramental Confession is God's Own Cure for both circumstances.

Especially for the grace of the sacrament, but not to be taken lightly is that having to confess the same sin (to the same priest) for the umpteenth time is one of the best deterrents to future transgressions I can think of.
