VOM was founded by dear, dear friends of mine, who are both now with the Lord, Richard and Sabina Wurmbrand. They were both the sweetest people you’d ever want to meet.
Sabina would give you anything she had if you needed it, and Richard had the most adorable twinkle in his eye as he told stories of his own imprisonment and torture. Inspirational.
My youngest daughter (10) is named Sabina after Mrs. Wurmbrand.
Really. Tremendous, tremendous good fortune and blessing to have known them.

Oh my goodness, I can't believe you were so blessed to know the Wurmbrands. I first discovered VOM back in the late 1990's and bought every book written by both of them and every DVD of Richard that I could find. I desperately wanted to meet them and was so sad when I realized I missed the opportunity by less than a year. I really feel like Richard was as close as those of us living now would get to meeting a disciple like Paul or Mark who had a relationship with Christ unlike anyone else currently living.
BTW, my tagline has been the same for many years - it's the VOM website :)
