This statement is totally ignorant. The pope has admitted deep regret for abusive clergy and enacted programs for reform to prevent recurrence. Most notably, bishops who permitted ordination of homosexual men in violation of canon law have been advised to get with the program.

The "hip" of yore who promoted the false visions of Vatican II are dying off. The young are flocking to hold dear what the hippies rejected and are discovering what Vatican II really was.
