Anne Rice as written in recent years in defense of Christianity. She's highly conflicted in that her son that she adores, her only family, is homosexual. And she buys into the canard that those who would deny two homosexuals the rite of sacramental marriage "hate" gays.
She also is struggling with some mean diabetes.
So I don't hear a renunciation of Jesus Christ here, but of Chritianity and Christians.

So I don't hear a renunciation of Jesus Christ here, but of Chritianity and Christians. Agree. As my pastor father-in-law says, the problem with Christianity is all the Christians.

I thought that her son died in his youth.

Sounds to me like she is casting her lot in with the “live for today” temporal ways of liberalism.

So I don't hear a renunciation of Jesus Christ here, but of Chritianity and Christians. How can one reject Christianity and not Jesus Christ?
