Michael Hichborn of American Life League, who has been a key member of the Reform CCHD Now coalition, said they are encouraged by the steps being taken in Chicago. "Chicago CCHD is taking real reform seriously and has already taken steps to ban several pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, and pro-Marxist groups from funding, he said.
I guess I forgot how CCHD supports Marxism [communism].

Historically the Chicago Archdiocese has had two CCHD problems.
1) Catholics concerned about social justice and human development are eager to control that money. But they are totally ignorant of how social justice and economic progress are achieved. Their mis-conceptions of economics are so bad that not even a self-respecting Keynesian would agree with them.
2) Catholics who do know the realities of economics have had no desire to control the social justice agenda of the Church or to educate the ignorant. They would rather just pray about it and dump off the money so they won’t be bothered by the ignorant self-righteous bleeding hearts.
(I admit I’m biased due to a history of involvement in Chicagoland.)
