We didn't know about the Sa'ami relationship until I was able to track down and match a good number of "peculiar" genetically related conditions to the medical studies being done on/with/to the Skolt Sa'ami in Finland (and now Russia).

As I finally determined the problem in knowing about them was the DATE OF IMMIGRATION. First of all, they didn't emigrate ~ they were rounded up by Swedes (probably on the orders of a fellow who is ancestral as well) in winter, put on boats and shipped to America to cut trees. Second, all that happened in the early to mid 1600s.

The English kept decent records on their people ~ even their slaves. The Swedes didn't keep any records worth a darn, and those they did were in Latin or Swedish ~ so most of our knowledge of that period in Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania comes from non-Sa'ami, or from a handful of Bibles.

For a variety of reasons the Sa'ami stuck together, and in 1701 when they abandoned Lancaster Pennsylvania, they moved to York and set up 5 designated Sa'ami settlements in Penn and 2 in Maryland. From that point on Sa'ami emigration out of Scandinavia seems to have regularized around those destination points.

Once the American Revolution was finished (and remember the Maryland 400 ~ Flying Geese, and those guys with bare feet at Valley Forge, and the guys pushing off the ice from George Washington's boat while he crossed the Delaware? Guess who that was) the Sa'ami began making a bee-line West leaving in their wake a myriad of towns, townships and counties with "deer", "elk", "Christmas" and "union" in their name.

I was actually born in a place once called "MULES CROSSING" (now Seymour) ~ (settled by a fellow named Silverskjold, and Renno, and Crane, and a whole bunch of Swedish nobles apparently run off from Finland in 1810). BTW, that "MULES" is not a "mule", but a "reindeer". We call the territory Amaroosia, which is a phrase that if flipped around is the name of the capital city of Lapland County in Finland in SKOLT!

None of that was known until I began tracking down the stray threads ~ on the other hand the genetic problems, and advantages, typifying the Skolt pretty well tell the story of what's going on in all those colonial outposts established by the Sa'ami.

Now, does any of that seem familiar to any of you folks with gluten intolerance? It should because up until about 900 AD the Sapma (Sa'ami land) had no grain, and it had no wine and was otherwise genetically isolated from Europe. Grass allergies come with your genes, and many Sa'ami of all the nations are born without the genes to make the enzymes to metabolize alcohol.

There are other things that don't get metabolized either ~ like Versed (a sedative used in light surgery), anti-cholesterol drugs, and probably common garden vegetables!

I think we are primarily carnivorous from the thousands of years in the Arctic and subarctic. Our diet is naturally reindeer, fish, seal and lingonberries. Stepping outside those four major food groups we risk bowel cancer, liver trouble, blindness, skin diseases, and a bunch of other things too numerous to mention, On the other hand, there's "Sa'ami male potency" (a real plus), ability to withstand cold weather and cold water, good night vision, and what seems to be a natural inclination to hop on skis and do stuff ~ no training needed.

Now not everybody in America of Sa'ami ancestry is a pureblood ~ probably nobody. But you inherit half your genes from each parent, and they probably know less about Sa'ami ancestry than you do, so you may be getting a double-dose and that will bring out all the auto-somal recessives ~ and boy do the Sa'ami have a lot of those.

I encourage everyone to read everything on the net that they can about Sa'ami, and look for Skolt because they show up in all the studies you need to know about.

A MORE EXCELLENT WAY bk

by Henry Wright nor his seminar at his church.

********************************************************************************
Fascinating stuff anyway. You can listen to his Reader’s Digest condensed seminar on the internet for free.

All his seminar’s are free, even if you go to them. I have a lot of respect for someone who is that committed to helping people that much.

Interesting post. Never heard of Sa’ami and don't know if I am of that descent but my father and myself are both alcohol intolerant. He had a drink occasionally and got deathly sick. I never even take a sip of anything alcoholic. Not gluten intolerant, thankfully but I have some strange allergies.

Two months ago I'd said "no", but now I've got some really good information.

Remember those ol'boys on top the Carpathian Mountains that run from Slovakia through Poland, Ukraine, etc.? One side you got the peasants with pitchforks paying taxes to the Turks, and on the other side they got nothing but vampires with long canine teeth, go out at night a lot, with preternaturally WHITE translucent skin.

They weren't Slavic, at least not until the territory became the personal possession of the Russian Czar. He sent in Cossacks (now called CarpathoRhaetians) who were supposed to run off everybody up there ~ circa 1806-15.

They spoke a now extinct Sa'ami language. It wasn't extinct until two months ago in fact when the last speaker died. The language was pretty much a dialect of Skolt.

They went somewhere ~

Now, do you have dwarves in the family? A dwarf is someone who as an adult is 4'10" or less. Our old family pictures have bunches of them ~ but we always thought it was because they didn't eat well as children.

PRAISE GOD. HE DOES SEEM PRETTY TENACIOUS.

What were their last inputs to you, that you might be willing to share? I’d expect them to be dogged in your behalf, too.

I’ve not always been thrilled with their . . . responsiveness, however.

He’s certainly done a lot for folks with incurable diseases that were not profitable for companies to do anything about.

Of course,

CURRY BLAKE

has taken up where John G Lake left off . . . his teachings are free online:

http://spiritlessons.com/Documents/Healing/JGL/JGL_Ministries.htm

He disagrees rather forcefully with Henry Wright. I think they are both right.

Curry Blake’s main thing is the one praying having sufficient faith is all that’s necessary for healing regardless of the roots.

Henry, of course, has spent 20 years praying and asking God about roots of diseases where folks don’t get healed when prayed for. Deal with the roots, he teaches, and God will heal. And, He USUALLY does as I understand the current state of such things. . . .

THANKS TONS.

Have you and anyone else done the

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC/ IBM DNA STUDY?

It might be well worth it. It is interesting.

yes and I’m allergic to wine, grapes and duck of all things
Saami probably have some Oriental genes and I have known Chinese people who after drinking wine, turn bright red. I also cannot tolerate high doses of niacin

IIRC Henry gets into ancestral stuff both spiritual and genetic. I don’t recall what that would be with food allergies.

I have his new addition with the DVD . . .

on p 35 . . .

mentions great success rate with MCS/EI Multiple Chemical Sensitivities/Environmental I?

then . . .

“I get calls and letters frequently from people who have listened to the tapes. The lights go on. Remember 2 Timothy 2: God meets them and heals them. They walk out of diseases.

When we do not get healing, what do we do? Will we go into unbeilef, go into doubt, make a new doctrine, rewrite the bible, go hide and become atheists? No! We will go back to God and ask Him why the devil still holds us captive at his will. That is what 2 Timothy seems to indicate. We need to find the strongholds in our lives keeping us from receiving God’s healing.

Isaiah says,

But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivers; for a spoil, and none says, Restore. Isaiah 42:22

I say restore!

I think he’s more right than wrong. I’m not yet totally done with even the allergies but I’ve walked out more than I’d have ever guessed possible.

Haven’t yet found out what he has to say about fungal infections of the skin or systemic such. Taiwan was the source. Yet the best dermitologists there were of no help. Itches. Scratch. Skin separates, peels off. Wheee. Sigh.

Remember, the Carpathian mountains cut through a lot of modern nationstates. 200 years ago the folks on top the mountains were free to roam.

Here's one for you, look up dental dysplasia. Sure, you've got your 32 teeth, but are they straight and what size are they. If they're all over the place a recent study done in Finland suggests the Sa'ami have widespread dental dysplasia ~ with as many as 18% of them missing 3 teeth that just never came in.

I'm lucky ~ only 5 teeth turned sideways, and 1 missing.

They've studied the Oriental ancestry possibilities. In general virtually all European people have about 5% East Asian ancestry (from events in the Ice Age ~ not the Mongol Invasion). The Sa'ami have no more East Asian ancestry than any other Europeans.

They do have a different "eye" ~ but this is a carryover from our common Cro Magnon ancestry ~

Worth noting, all East Asian populations have about 5% European ancestry.

what does “the eye” look like? I may have it, do they slant in any way?

You run into it with some frequency in Poles with family up near the Carpathians. I call it the "backwards eye". It's not "slanted", but the eyes are a bit futher from the nose than in most whites. Plus, you can have an extra heavy lid (to keep the ice off).

Stevie Nix is Sa'ami. So is Kevin Sorbo. Then there's Tiger Woods' now ex wife. Just go to google.com. Type in Sa'ami and/or Lapland. Choose "IMAGE" upper left on the bar. You'll get plenty of folks with "the eye". Ignore all people with tans ~ Sa'ami don't have tans. Berbers have tans ~ they are simply Sa'ami who moved to North Africa about 8000 years back. They've adapted.
