I think it is because Beck built a political audience and then started moving to religion, people are being sucked in, which is a Mormon method, “milk before meat”.
Have you been to his new “News/blog” site that just went up today?
He wants people to submit articles of things that are happening that do not show up in the papers, and then he wants “his journalists” to fact check them. And then he’ll put them up.
I wonder how this will evolve in time?
Bravo! Excellent post.
WOW
So this pastor was invited to The Great Glenn Beck Love-In...
and declined...
God Bless this decerning Christian man...
I didn’t make note of it, it isn’t unusual to see people surprised to learn that Beck practices Mormonism.
Good grief. I dont think Glenn asked anyone to pray to his Mormon god.

I sure didnt hear Beck identify his mormon god and tell anyone not too...
What a small man the pastor is

What a big God the pastor has...
Do you have a better source to contradict them, or throw doubt on them? Do you think that the Vatican accepts Mormonism as Christian?
How many times is this thing going to be posted?? sheesh

But then Samuel Adams was not a mormon...
How are you ???
I don't know, but already conservative Christians and conservative talk show hosts are being drawn in to defending Mormonism as Christian, because they want to protect Beck's conservative political messages, people are being sucked into a tar pit.
Huh?
CONGREGATION FOR THE DOCTRINE OF THE FAITH
RESPONSE TO A 'DUBIUM' on the validity of baptism conferred by «The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints», called «Mormons»
Question: Wheter the baptism conferred by the community «The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints», called «Mormons» in the vernacular, is valid.
Response: Negative.
The Supreme Pontiff John Paul II, in the Audience granted to the undersigned Cardinal Prefect, approved the present Response, decided in the Sessione Ordinaria of this Congregation, and ordered it published.
From the Offices of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, 5 June 2001.

I don’t understand this.
Since the 2008 election, I’ve listened to talk radio. I’ve watched FOX. I pay attention to FR.
But, I have my own internal compass.
I’ve been living my life the way it needs to be lived to take care of my family. That’s all. I can vote, sure. And as we get closer to 2012 I may want to get more involved.
But in this economy, with the world being so unsettled because of those loons in the WH... I try to ignore a good portion that goes on, for my own sanity.
I can only control what I can control. I take care of my family, and put the kids to bed at night.
Beck’s call for a national (what is it?) just rings hollow to me.
He was here in Atlanta after September 11th. We went to that. I would never travel to DC to see him. HE’S AN ENTERTAINER, FIRST AND FOREMOST!
He’s not a Theologian or an American Historian, and his facts aren’t always perfect.
I can read the Bible for myself, thanks.
I know that site, and that document, part of the document is incorporated into that photo of Pope John Paul in post 104. The answer part.
I know Glenn believes in God and he stated last week he believes in Jesus dying on the Cross
_______________________________________________
Source ???
How do you know that ???
This is important because the pastor who reported that Beck said that could have added the “DYING ON THE CROSS” when he repeated Beck’s statement because it is an automatic phrase for a Christian to say and not because he actually heard Beck say it...
Meanwhile Beck may have just stopped at “believes in Jesus”
Mormons do not believe Jesus died on the cross to save us...
They claim our redemptgion which they call “atonement” was won in the Garden or Gethsemene through the sweat of Jesus and not through the Blood on the Cross.....
They believe that the Cross has nothing to do with our salvation..
Something might "work" for you while you are on earth, but if it leads to eternal damation after this life, it didn't really work, did it? While all the things that Beck did at the rally were great and noble, in so much as trying to save out republic, if in the end someone seeks out Mormonism because of their admiration of Beck they have forfeited their eternal salvation. That is the point of this pastor. While I myself, am grateful that someone is waking up America to the ills of Obama, I was uneasy that it was someone whose beliefs are so very flawed and are in complete opposition to that of the truth of Christ Jesus and his plan of salvation.
All that being said, this is the first time I have chimed in on the rally and this controversy. I know i will be flamed. Really don't care. False doctrine is false doctrine and it leads to eternal damnation. Would everyone be on Becks side if he were one of these peaceful Muslims we hear about and was saying all the things he says??? I think not..
do your homework regarding Mormonism people. it won't take you too long to realize it is apostate. In fact, given how intelligent i believe Beck to be, it surprises me that he has not figured it out and jumped ship. I pray for him almost daily that the truth of Jesus Christ will be revealed to him.
Okay, now, everyone flame away, but before you do so and call me a religious bigot, do your homework and read God's word from beginning to end and then compare that to the beliefs within Mormonism and tell me if they coincide... This Pastor is not as concerned about saving this nation (which will cease to exist, as will all others when Christ returns) as he is at saving souls for all eternity. I for one commend him. That is his point. He applauds Beck in his political views, but fears for souls that may be lead astray. And there you all have my two cents...
