Freepers, we first started praying for these babies when their mother was 21 weeks gestation and showing signs of labor. (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2549381/posts) They were born at 26 weeks gestation. Hannah and Emma are their names. Emma was born healthier than Hannah, who has already had to undergo surgery to deal with blood and fluid on her brain. Emma, who wasn't on a breathing machine had to be put on one shortly after being moved to another hospital where her sister could get more specialized care. Tonight, they are both fighting upper respiratory infections or something unknown and are in great need of prayer.
Prayers for these precious babies, Hannah and Emma. May the Lord hold them in the hollow of his hand and comfort the parents at the same time. Amen.
Dear Lord, please guide your angels, Hannah and Emma to a long and happy life.

Neither. :) The twins parents are separated due to daddy’s work. Their mother has had a hard time holding babies and basically was showing signs of labor at 21 weeks. Since she was on complete bed rest, and her hubby was helping to clean up the gulf, our church started bringing her meals and visiting her a couple of times a day. The night we visited her she had had a bad doctors report that she was looking like she was going into labor. She started with contractions and we started praying earnestly as did Freepers. The babies held off until week 26 when they were much more viable. It’s been a real struggle both for the babies and their parents, particularly Mama. But we’ve seen God move as well. Looking forward to the day when I get to watch their girls in our nursery at church.
For the quads, they are a family close to our church family. I don’t know the mother personally, but know members of the family. Their story really touches me. God has worked some real miracles there as well.

We were told we could never have a second child, but we did. Doctors used to be called "practicing physicians" with good reason. Prayer and determination take us to places some doctors cannot fathom.
Oh God,
We are your children, and you know how much we love children.
Have mercy on us. Our lives are sorrowful as Jesus your Son know better than we do.
Protect and save these little ones. We have cried so much that we are dehydrated because of the tears we have shed.
Give us some little solace and save these babies.
After all, your Son was a baby.
And we make our plea to you remembering and loving Him.

Lord, please heal Hannah and Emma and strengthen their little bodies. Help their parents to cope with their fear and allow them the grace of feeling Your presence in their lives in a very real way, every day. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen
Prayers for the all the preemie babies! God, please watch over all of them and heal them with Your Almighty Will.
