Ok, I am not getting this. During the Millennium when satan is bound, there will be no death, no sadness, no illness, etc, Jesus will be in control of the world's government......peace on earth - so why are the lds going to be doing missionary work and temple rituals?

Even better..."The Prophet Joseph Smith taught that during the Millennium, “the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory”.

Poor mormons have to work even when they have reached "paradisiacal glory".....I'm wondering if the missions will last two years like they do now, or if they will have to spend the whole 1000 years knocking on the doors in Paradise??? Also since "The earth will be changed into a celestial kingdom." does that mean that everyone that is still there after the great war is automatically one of the chosen? Boggles the mind to think of the temples going full blast with proxy work during the milennium, doesn't it?
