In the 1st amendment sense of the word “religion”, the mohammed cult is an alternative government using a god-cult as a means to power. It’s chief end is the imposition of that sharia government. It explains why there is no country bordering a mohammedan country that is not at war with mo-cult followers. There is no country with 30% or so mo-cultists that is not suffering an insurgency seeking overthrow of the existing government.
In short, our constitution is not open to those who finesse its words in an effort to overthrow that same constitution.

It occurred to me reading your post that sharia is a distinctive of islam. This distinctive makes it a political system not a religious faith. Maybe this is the best way to start arguing against it's expansion. Bar islam from the political arena just as we should bar a nazi party.
