The Haitians Desperate Need for the True Gospel of Jesus Christ!

It has been almost one year and nearly a million Haitians still live on the streets between piles of rubble and much debris. The littered streets and unsanitary conditions still plague the inhabitants of this earthquake ravished nation.

In the news of late it has been revealed that the Haitian people have still not received the promised $1.15 billion in U.S. aid which they so desperately need.

"This Divine remedy cannot be provided by the U.S. and the world. This Divine remedy only comes from and through the Lord Jesus Christ, Almighty God's precious Son"

The Haitian people have become very dependent on foreign aid and global humanitarian relief organizations to help them in their desperate time of need, but all of this human effort and aid has NOT brought total relief to Haiti’s inhabitants. The Haitians need something and Someone more that will absolutely set them free from their bondage and oppression. They need something and Someone more that can give them an eternal hope and joy in light of their current crisis and dire situation. This Divine remedy can NEVER be provided by the U.S. and the world. This Divine remedy ONLY comes from and through the Lord Jesus Christ, Almighty God's precious Son.

The Haitians need to know that Almighty God LOVES them and sent His Son to SAVE and DELIVER them from the wrath to come and this present evil age.

Not to mention that a revival in Haiti (or an awakening) might help with not only their spiritual problems but the earthly corruption in Haiti.

I have Christian friends that go to Haiti on a regular basis to rebuild homes and hold church meetings.

Honestly, as screwed up as that country is if they went completely Christian they’d end up with a corrupt, bloodthirsty Christian dictator like Charles Taylor.

I have spent some years in Haiti and disagree. As in any impoverished nation the ethics of poverty are dominant. Some of the wealthiest people in the Caribbean live on the mountain side above Port au Prince. They own most of the enterprise in Haiti and bleed their countrymen. there is a distinct racial component to this as well. They are, in old terms, mulatto.

Haiti has had a few genuinely humanitarian dictators and a few who had checkered records on human rights but were focused on improving the economy. Papa Doc comes to mind.

The overthrow of Aristide by the military was a golden moment in the nation. Military leaders were genuinely Christian altruists and offered Haiti its best chance in decades for improvement.

Tragically the US president and his wife were not willing to tolerate this anti Marxist revolution. In a few short days Clinton destroyed Haiti with an embargo that broke the back of 90% of the Haitian economy.

The dominant ethic in Haiti involves taking advantage of anyone and everyone. This is a top to bottom ethical challenge that has not been broken by Christianizing the nation.

Acts of genuine charity are parsimonious. A Mother Theresa is needed.

That's what I was talking about. The culture just can't support benevolence, whatever religion they have. People like to blame other countries for the sad shape of Haiti, but they've been screwing themselves more than anyone else for 200 years.

No my friend... they would be sending missionaries here to the U.S to witness to our godless nation.
