Shakespeare was a Catholic. I'm not sure I'd say that with 100% certainty, but the arguments in favour of that assertion are persuasive.

I'm not sure I'd say that with 100% certainty, but the arguments in favour of that assertion are persuasive. I think it could go either way, what is certain is that Shakespeare did not embrace the anti-Catholicism that was commonplace in Elizabethan England.
