Well, good that you acknowledge that kids are kids. Stick around you will see some lds FR defend these kids or at the very least make excuses. Chip on shoulder, personally from some of the lds FR posters one would think its taught in Sunday School as a lessons.

Not in the wards of which I have been a member, or at least I never took it that way. I can see where some church members may have that attitude, but that's also a matter of human nature. The "My kids are always superior to your kids" sort of thing. Yes, I am glad that two of my kids stuck out early morning Seminary classes. I think it gave them an added bulwark in dealing with peer pressure, and in being more secure in their own skin. Not a bad thing.
