The ADL has it wrong. Beck was not going after Soros for what he did to survive. He was going after his attitude about it. And that attitude reveals his character, then and now. And that character is faulty.
Soros himself claims he has no regrets. He said something like it was some of the best years of his life.
The point was made by Beck, right or wrong in method, that Soros does not give a s^/% for anyone but Soros and his agenda.

Beck stated that what happened to Soros as a boy was horrible. He explained that his father had paid a lot of money to get him into a “Christian” home as a way of saving him. Beck, however, showed the viewer that this trauma was the first “putting on a mask” for him. Beck (IMHO) did not ridicule anything about the Holocaust. Just a thought.

I heard that and almost fell off my couch. He then described it as exciting because danger was all around you. Exciting?! My blood ran cold when I heard him say that. Just a thought.
I'm not a Beck fan, don't get a chance to watch his show but my wife is and does. In addition to what I've been reading on the 'net that Beck has been saying, and things my wife has told me, I'd bet willing to bet a hefty sum that anything that Beck has been saying about Soros has been vetted by Fox News' lawyers and required months and months of research be validated before they ever let him put his claims on the air.
If it weren't true you could bet Soros would be suing the crap out of Fox News already for the things Beck has said to date. If Beck were stating something untrue, I'd expect Soros to own Fox News in a court settlement.
I don't see that happening.

Consider his own remarkable admission. Soros, who is Jewish, in a speech to the Jewish Funders Network astoundingly blamed the cause of anti-Semitism on Israel and then on himself.
After blaming Israel and the U.S. for causing anti-Semitism and citing the Malaysian prime minister’s statement that the “Jews rule the world by proxy,” Soros then confessed, “I’m also very concerned about my own role because the new anti-Semitism holds that the Jews rule the world. As an unintended consequence of my actions,” he said, “I also contribute to that image.”
Abraham Foxman of the Anti-Defamation league appropriately called Soros’ remarks “obscene” and declared, “He buys into the stereotype. It’s a simplistic, counterproductive, biased and bigoted perception of what’s out there. It’s blaming the victim for all of Israel’s and the Jewish people’s ills.”

Malaysian leader’s charges anger American Jews - `Agenda’ torpedoed his country’s currency, he says

American Jewish leaders Tuesday expressed outrage over comments by Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, who accused Jews of trying to block the development of his predominantly Muslim nation and of sabotaging its currency.
Mr. Mahathir’s remarks were “consistent with his long record of anti-Semitism and belief in a Jewish conspiracy to bring about the downfall of Malaysia,” said Abraham Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League in New York.

Over the last few months, Mr. Mahathir has been angered by what he claims is foreign interference with Malaysia’s currency, the ringgit. It has dropped 18 percent against the dollar since early July to its lowest level in 25 years. The Kuala Lumpur stock market has fallen by 27 percent this year.
Mr. Mahathir last month blamed it all on international currency speculators, especially George Soros , who is Jewish. He threatened to clamp controls on foreign currency trading.

Well there was this little dustup known as the Opium Wars. We learned about it in high-school history class. Pretty much the entire British Empire, of which the Queen (different Queen at the time) is the head, was used to push opium use in China, and resist Chinese efforts to make it illegal. (Drug legalization fans should study this episode.)
I don't know if that is what LaRouche is talking about. But I would have to strongly agree with the statement "The Queen of England was behind an international drug running operation".
