I give to my parish church but I don’t do second collections at all especially when those in charge can’t be trusted to use my hard-earned money wisely. I find many occasions in my own community to give charity and it is personal, in most cases I know the family and the situation.

I started doing exactly the same thing a little while ago when I heard horror stories of how the NCCB handed out the money. Thanks to the internet or I would never have heard of this.
