As Father Corapi says, “I won’t know I’m saved until I’m looking Jesus in the eye.”

As Father Corapi says, “I won’t know I’m saved until I’m looking Jesus in the eye.”

That's when it's a little late to worry about it...

John says:

1Jn 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Did your priest not believe what Jesus told John to write???

Act 15:7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
Act 15:8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;

Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

God gave us his Spirit that we would know if we are saved...Sounds like your priest doesn't have that Spirit of Christ...Perhaps you don't as well...

Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

And when you are saved, you will be indwelt with the Holy Spirit who will bear witness to that Salvation...You can know if you are saved, right now...

Well bless his heart!

I prefer what Paul said in Ephesian 1:

As Paul sez:

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, 8 which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight 9 making known [3] to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ 10 as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.

So there is the answer: We are saved before the foundation of the world!
