, but I've heard repeatedly from longtime Catholics that our classes are uniquely wonderful. I'm at St. Thomas Aquinas in Charlottesville and our RCIA classes are sound and detailed. But I've been part of a class taught by a deacon and it was downright heretical.
Catechesis of the young is a job everyone wants somebody else to do. It doesn't get thought about, monitored, improved, the way other aspects of parish life do. It's frustrating.

Lucky you—a Dominican house of St. Joseph’s Province. Not everyone is so blessed. My parents and two of my sisters are doubly blessed by being at St. Thomas Aquinas in Zanesville, which not only has the Dominicans, but also has solid architecture, though I suppose St. T in Charlottesville isn’t bad for being on a college campus (I have friends in the area and have been through a few times).
