But if nobody has a good theory for the creation of mass from nothing, gravity isn't “settled science”?

Please try to keep up here.

The theory of evolution has no more to do with how life originated than the theory of gravity has to do with how mass originated.

My problem with categorizing evolution as settled science is that you have to assume little things like life originated spontaneously. Assumptions are not proofs. You can go ahead and call it science if you’d like, but leave off the settled part.
