So what if Lennon didn't write it. He understood what it meant and collaborated with McCartney on a lot of songs. Or did you miss that part.

The needy, pathetic desire of some on this thread to diss one of the greatest musicians of all time 30 years after his death just goes to show how important he really was.

And who cares that he was an atheist. Freud was a cocaine addict. Mozart was an alcoholic. And Jefferson owned slaves. None of those things lessened the gifts these people gave to us. And it is my firm belief that God Himself will look at their good works, and forgive their failures.

If you know better, then hey, knock yourself out.
