I grew up in a arminian methodist home. That was before the methodist church became what it is today. I am thankful for learning some scriptures and being churched at an early age. When I came face to face with my sin and was granted the "gift of repentance" for my debt to Jesus I started reading this scripture. I understood it for the first time. Hint: don't try to tell your arminian parents that you were sinful from birth. THey were pretty mad at me and still are offended by this doctrine from scripture. God bless them they are blinded to this doctrine but still saved.
