Kosovo Protestants tell of hardship, survival

The small Protestant church in downtown Pristina has been around since 1985. Since then, its flock has grown to around 6,000 faithful, and 21 additional churches have been built around Kosovo.

But the denomination faces ongoing barriers in a country where the majority religion is Islam, says the community's spiritual leader, Pastor Arthur Krasniqi.

"In this part of the Balkans, among Albanians as well, religion has always played a role in, or [rather] has been abused by, politics for electoral or other purposes," he told SETimes.

Protestants, he said, have to deal with an atmosphere of unease. "They are visited at home, threatened there will be no place for them to be buried when they die, and their families are frequently isolated," he said.

Sometimes, the pressure takes the form of physical violence. In Prizren, Krasniqi says, Muslim extremists beat a Kosovo Protestant, Besim Ajeti, earlier this year. Six people were arrested but released for lack of evidence.....

When a couple hundred Serbian Orthodox churches were destroyed by Muslim Albanians after NATO arrived, the propaganda was that "it was just because they were Serbian churches, not because they were Christian" because "the Albanians are" supposedly "un-Muslimy Muslims". Yeah, right.

The Double Standard continues .....all kinds of gushing media sympathy for the Protestants...the hell with the Orthodox, when they were fighting for their lives.

You know what I say to that..."go F..... your two faced -selves!"

SE Times—I wonder who finances them.

NO mention at all of the Orthodox Church burnings and destruction by the muslim vandals. No mention at all of the ethnic cleansing of Serbians in their own land - Kosovo!

Just some crocodile tears for a Protestant Christian. Useful fools.

Look, I know what they've done and it is arrogant and completely naive -- thinking that some more recent form of Christianity is far superior to the Christianity that built hundreds of monasteries in Kosovo and was where hundreds of thousands of Christians lost their lives defending Christianity from Islam. But this article also proves what we've said all along -- the Muslim Albanians are Islamist, not just the "loosely Muslim, American-loving victims" that the press and the globalists sold the Western world on. Nothing proves it better than this -- Protestant Albanians being Intimidated by Islamiat in Kosovo. Consider it an early "Christmas present".

This applies to All people including Orthodox, Protestants, Catholic, etc.

Just subsitute the phrase...."When Islam comes looking for you........":

When the Nazis came for the communists, I remained silent; I was not a communist.

When they locked up the social democrats, I remained silent; I was not a social democrat.

When they came for the trade unionists, I did not speak out; I was not a trade unionist.

When they came for the Jews, I remained silent; I wasn't a Jew.

When they came for me, there was no one left to speak out.
