They like to push it, don’t they? Remember the commercial with the Host being used as a cracker for dip? They know exactly what they’re doing.
This is, to me, as bad as the Hyundai ad last year. I signed the petition. I don’t care how “edgy” marketing firms think they can be. If they want “edgy,” let’s see something like the now-banned VW ad from a few years ago, wherein the strength of their car’s interior construction negated a feeble attempt at jihad. THAT was edgy, in light of the current political climate. Marketers need to remember a few things, like the fact that most mockery targeting a large portion of their intended audience will backfire, reduce sales, and cause them to lose contracts. Idiots. (Sorry, I’ll get off the soapbox)
