Weird religion with all that looked at golden plates in a hat stuff? I understand wanting to believe in God but you have to admit, LDS is pretty far out there in the gargantuan quantity of faith needed to believe the loony premise of that religion.
I think its a campaign....that’s all I figure....why do this sort of thing several times a day and NOT expect people to get really upset....

It seems to me to be more than just LDS, though they’re certainly posting their share of stuff.
I’m seeing lots of relgious doctrinal postings and squabbling from all quarters. Lots of Roman Catholic stuff, too. Then of course the obligatory sola scriptura versus tradition.....
I sometimes feel like I’ve wandered into Beliefnet or some type of comparative relition class. At first it was interesting, but the volume of it is really getting tedious. There’s at least one person here who posts Catholic stuff that goes for hundreds of lines. Of course it draws an argument.
No one here is going to convince anyone his way is right....why are they bothering? It’s really starting to drown out the political stuff.
Is it too much to aske people to keep their doctrine to themselves unless asked about it?

I’m working on founding a crazy relgion too, some of the highlights involve ripping the living beating hearts out of marxists every other Tuesday and only allowing women and homosexuals to speak once a year on Mardi Gras.
Keep in mind, you have conservative atheists here that would take a bullet for you.

In my opinion, many of them are posted with the sole intent to cause arguments. If my memory is correct, the anti-Mormon thread invasion started right about the time of this poll which said that Mormons are the most conservative religious group. The pro-Mormon threads started a little later. I believe this all started with one or two disruptor trolls who tapped into the existing anti-Romney movement with a plan to divide and conquer.
