Not quite the point I was trying to make SZ. Modern mormon "teaching", at least as projected by many mormons here for public consumption, is close to Christianity in regards to the use of the word "grace". However, we know that before grace can even kick in HUGE requirements for a sinless life must be attained (as indicated by "The Miracle of Forgiveness"). The question framed should be does Jesus grant us an "grace" - we do what we can do and get along; or does grace come from the strict standards laid out by TMoF? They conflict with each other greatly to the point where they could be in open contradiction with each.
Unfortunately I don't sit in on lds meetings to hear what they are teaching first hand regarding 'grace'. But if it is anything like the thread article describes - someone is presenting a false teaching, either the author or Kimball. If she rejects Kimball, then Kimball would have to be a false teacher.
