Now what is wrong with Michigan?

Other than the economy and that the liberals have destroyed Detroit?? I'm from Michigan and I heard a big storm is about to hit that state. Are you a Yooper or a Loper?

Do you two play Euchre? As far as I can tell, everyone from Michigan plays. And nobody from anywhere else does.

OM Goodness! That is so true! Every one in my family plays that but I never got a chance to learn because I was the youngest and my siblings and cousins are so much older than me.

How Sad so disappointing….

Hey, Resty, I noticed on your home page you have an

From the The Family: A Proclamation to the World The First Presidency and Council of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day:
* In the premortal realm, spirit sons and daughters knew and worshiped God as their Eternal Father...
* Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony...

Q#1 Why does this phrase (first asterisk above) mention the Mormon heavenly father, but bears no mention of the Mormon heavenly mother???

What? Are Mormon divine women kept silent, barefoot, and in the Kolobian bedroom?

Are Mormon divine women non-existent publicly except for their ability to have sex and bear spirit babies? (the Kolobian "bare and bear" approach to women?)

Q2 And re: that second asterisk about "Children" being "entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony"...is that also true of all "spirit babies" in the so-called "pre-mortal realm?"

If not (if your heavenly father isn't "married") why not?

If he is (married), at least announce it! (Don't just tiptoe around the tulips...don't just leave the world guessing how many former virgins the Mormon god has up there)

And to highlight I am not descrating the true God by such a statement, T Minus Four over the weekend posted this one statement from Brigham Young:

“...brother Joseph B. Nobles once told a Methodist priest, after hearing him describe his god, that the god they worshiped was the “Mormon’s” Devil-a being without a body, whereas our God has a body, parts and passions.” (Brigham Young, JD 5:331)

Therefore, (a) even Brigham recognized lots of bodily passions from your Mormon god; and (b) Mormons have a different God -- flesh & bones but no supposedly blood...

Tell us how that works, Resty. I mean your home page official document splashes sex for the world to see ("We declare the means by which mortal life is created to be divinely appointed.")...how does the Mormon god produce billions & billions & billions & billions of spirit babies -- creating mortal spirit babies life up there -- if he doesn't have blood coursing through ALL veins of his supposed passion-filled body?

(I'm not the first to "raise" this issue...Ms. Jack Meyers does here at Mormon Matters...scroll down looking for the word "blood")

He’s probably has a lot at stake if his faith collapses. I’d expect some anger and hatred to roll our way. Just pray for him and others.

That is a lol moment.
Point out what is incorrect about the flash cards, you can’t even get lds to tell you what is “incorrectly translated” about the Bible.

****

Those who have receive more intelligent aka light from the Lord recognized this kind of question and attitudes as being foolish or what one would say a stumbling stone because the plain and precious truth was not present therefore lacking in understanding of things and ways of the Lord.

Those who insist in continuing using the world yard stick to measure things of the spirit of the Lord truly it is sad watching as the years go by and witnessing at how the souls of antis LDS shrink and diminish away from the light of the Lord...

Insight blood is only necessary element of the corporal body to live in the temporal kingdom aka world.

When the Savior shed His blood made the atonement there was no more need of the blood in the eternal scheme of things blood is only necessary to those still living in temporal world.

The Lord resurrected body is not then material of corporal physical of body which functions on blood for the flesh and bone in order to operate.

Hel. 5: 9
9 O remember, remember, my sons, the words which king Benjamin spake unto his people; yea, remember that there is no other way nor means whereby man can be saved, only through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ, who shall come; yea, remember that he cometh to redeem the world.

D&C 76: 69
69 These are they who are just men made perfect through Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, who wrought out this perfect atonement through the shedding of his own blood

The resurrected body is flesh and bone and receives the Spirit of the Lord.
Romans 8

9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together

Hel. 5: 9

He's a she, and yes, you nailed it. I'm told from several who have left the church that it is common to have a real struggle as the truth becomes more and more irrefutable. There is a great deal to lose, especially if one is elderly and one's LDS spouse has passed.

Imagine the devastation of facing that fact that "all you had done" was a tragic waste, that your temple marriage was no more binding that a pinky swear, and that nobody except Jesus is going to call you out of the grave.

Imagine facing the dreadful suspicion that your deceased spouse and family were on the wrong narrow path.

It's no wonder the denial is like iron.

This is quite a claim dear Resty. Do you mean to say you can see my soul? And you are able to measure it?

Ooooooo-kay. So, if I follow, "Heavenly Father" and Jesus have physical bodies, but no blood.
